The base salary of an accounting manager varies from a low of $31,434 to a high of $127,610 (stated in US dollars) across 10 major countries included in Mercer’s Global Pay Summary (GPS).

“Accounting managers around the world tend to receive good salaries, but it’s interesting to see how pay for this key corporate position compares to pay for the top athletes in these same countries,” he notes. “In most cases, the country’s top athlete will earn the equivalent of an accounting manager’s annual pay in a matter of days.”
